Delivering healthcare spaces that support people, care, and community at every level

Taranaki Base Hospital - Te Rau Mātāpuna o Taranaki

The new Taranaki Base Hospital relocates essential services from earthquake-prone buildings into a state-of-the-art facility designed for resilience and modern care. Housing acute clinical and critical care services, including the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit, the design draws on nature as a metaphor, expressing healing, calm, and restorative qualities.
Healthcare buildings are among the most complex facilities we design. From inception to completion, this project reflects a shared commitment to delivering healthcare spaces that support people, care, and community at every level.
