This 1,000m² substantial home consists of expansive living and dining rooms, kitchen and scullery, a media space, three ground floor bedrooms with separate ensuites, a wine cellar, large pool, pool house and six car garaging stretched across the view line in a unique seaside landscape.
The private upper master suite contains an extensive bedroom, bathroom and wardrobing, a private office and retreat area with a gym. All spaces enjoy 180degree views across Tasman Bay towards Durville Island.
A deliberately restrained material palette has been chosen to provide a timeless architecture grounded in place, cladding the entire ground floor in hand fettled local stone with the upper floor wrapped in operable aluminium screens assisting with privacy and solar control.
Internally insitu concrete walls, natural stone floors, polished plaster ceilings and a sculptural stair are arranged to strengthen the outcome, achieving a restorative and exemplary retreat for our clients and their guests.
