Bold reinvention - from legacy workplace into enviable new residential living

The Domain Collection

The term ‘adaptive reuse’ typically conjures images of heritage brick and New York lofts. Decarbonising the built environment, however, demands us to think more creatively about how buildings of all character and quality can be revitalised to solve the challenges of today. The Domain Collection shows how, with an open mind and skilled design, anything is possible.
The Domain Collection is like a piece of art – it’s clearly connected to its surroundings, but it has its own identity that is glamourous and bold with an air of playfulness that’s reminiscent of the Domain’s purpose as one of Auckland’s great playgrounds.

The buildings are warm and inviting – built with natural and sustainable materials as if they have always been there. Beautiful timber detailing, concrete and stone have been used to connect them into the natural landscape. The existing building retains high, 3-metre studs to all apartments creating a sense of space and luxury.
